Cockburn Council Youth Centre

Here at Pedal Power while our main focus is of course bikes, we also have a wealth of information on almost everything cycling related. We have been regularly involved in supporting our local Cockburn councils youth initiatives for sometime now and the support doesn't just stop at helping judge and supply prizes for local skate park comps. Over the course of the last few years we've built a good working relationship with youth diversion officers to help provide them with quality bikes, parts and repairs. We are always on hand to offer advice and help complete some of their cycling orientated activities in the youth center. Pedal Power Swansea Restoration

WOW!!! A completely original 1959 Swansea delivery bicycle! I have been looking for an original one for over 15 years! Given to me by a university professor that used it to shuffle his kids around Rottnest! This is a factory original!!! In no way has it been butchered! This is a rare piece of Aussie history!! We have a lot of work ahead of us but it will be worth it restoring this iconic bicycle back to its former glory. Knowing the resources and know how of Big Z and Clint this vintage classic will look better than this pic and of course feature a gorgeous handwritten sign promoting our beloved shop! Aussie Sam Willoughby World BMX #1 Elite men

2012-05-28 Australian Sam Willoughby was crowned world number 1 in the elite mens category for BMX yesterday in Birmingham, England. This is surely a sign of things to come for this talented Aussie leading up to the Olympics in London later this year. Also riding hard and earning himself a 4th place in the final was another hard charging Australian Anthony Dean. Some people are already calling for an Aussie 1,2,3 podium at the Olympics with further talent Kahlen Young and Brian Kirkham making it through qualification but missing out on going all the way through.
